Terms & Conditions

1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the niblets.co.uk website, mobile applications, and the meal-delivery service (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Niblets Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account or placing an order you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and place orders.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. The Service

Niblets provides chef-crafted, organic baby and toddler meals that are delivered fresh to addresses within our delivery area (currently London & Greater London). We offer:

  • Subscription-based recurring meal plans (weekly).
  • One-off orders.
  • The ability to customise meal selections within your chosen plan.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

4. Subscriptions & Orders

4.1 Subscription Plans

Each subscription is associated with a meal plan that determines the number of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks included per delivery. Subscription types include recurring (weekly) and one-off plans.

4.2 Placing Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected meals. We accept this offer upon successful payment processing. Order confirmation will be reflected in your account dashboard.

4.3 Modifications & Cancellations

  • You may pause, modify, or cancel a subscription at any time from your account.
  • Changes to an upcoming delivery must be made before the order cut-off time displayed on the order page.
  • Once an order has entered “Preparing” status it cannot be cancelled or modified.

5. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
  • Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
  • A delivery fee may apply and will be shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
  • Promotional codes are single-use, non-transferable, and cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
  • We reserve the right to amend prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders already placed or active subscriptions until their next renewal.

6. Delivery

  • Deliveries are currently available within London & Greater London postcodes only. You can verify your postcode on our Delivery Areas page.
  • Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (severe weather, industrial action, etc.) do not constitute a breach of these Terms.
  • You must ensure someone is available to receive the delivery at the specified address. We are not responsible for food spoilage resulting from unattended deliveries.
  • If a delivery cannot be completed due to an incorrect address provided by you, re-delivery fees may apply.

7. Allergens & Nutritional Information

Our meals may contain or have been prepared in facilities that also handle common allergens including, but not limited to: milk, eggs, nuts, peanuts, soya, wheat (gluten), fish, shellfish, celery, mustard, sesame, and lupin.

Allergen and nutritional information is provided on each meal listing. While we take reasonable care to ensure accuracy, you are responsible for checking the allergen information before feeding any meal to your child. If your child has a known allergy, please consult your paediatrician before using our Service.

8. Food Safety & Storage

  • Meals should be refrigerated immediately upon delivery and consumed within the “use by” date printed on the packaging.
  • Follow the heating instructions provided with each meal. Ensure food is piping hot throughout before serving and allow to cool to a safe temperature.
  • We are not liable for illness or injury resulting from failure to follow storage or heating instructions.

9. Refunds & Complaints

  • If you are unhappy with an order due to a quality defect, missing items, or delivery damage, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected].
  • We will investigate and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, credit, or full refund at our discretion.
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method via Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind after an order has been dispatched.

10. Accounts & Authentication

You may register using an email address and password, or via a third-party provider (Google or Microsoft single sign-on). When using SSO, we receive limited profile information (name, email, and email verification status) from the provider — see our Privacy Policy for details.

You must not share your credentials or allow others to access your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts, or data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
  • Scrape, spider, or harvest data from the Service without written permission.
  • Submit false, misleading, or malicious information.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including text, graphics, logos, images, recipes, software, and design — is the property of Niblets Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our express written consent.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Niblets Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of the Service, or your violation of any applicable law.

15. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party providers including Stripe (payment processing), Google (authentication), and Microsoft (authentication). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of third-party providers.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
